We are proud to announce that dryrobe® has launched a new partnership with the RNLI, bringing together our shared love of the sea.
For nearly 200 years the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has been dedicated to saving lives at sea. Their 24/7 volunteer lifeboat service and seasonal lifeguard patrols rescue those in trouble in the water and provide a reassuring presence along our coasts. Independent of the Coastguard and the government, the charity is dependent on voluntary donations and legacies from individuals to maintain its rescue service.
Over the next three years, this partnership will see dryrobe® annually donate £100,000 to support the RNLI’s vital work. For every adult and kids dryrobe® Advance, Towel dryrobe® and dryrobe® Dog products sold on dryrobe.com, £1 will go to the RNLI. The partnership will also see some exciting collaborations and new products!
This partnership forms part of the dryrobe® Warmth Project - our commitment to supporting charities and non-profit organisations that share our values of promoting wellbeing through outdoor activity and protecting the environment.
Every year, approximately 150 people tragically lose their lives around the UK and Irish coasts. Through the partnership, dryrobe® will also be sharing the RNLI’s important water safety messaging with a wider audience.
Gideon Bright, dryrobe® founder and CEO commented:
“Everyone here at dryrobe® is excited to be partnering with the RNLI. Anyone with a connection to the water in this country knows that the work they do is as vital now as it was when the RNLI was formed nearly 200 years ago.
We are proud to be raising money to support the incredible work they do and amplify their important water safety advice. This partnership truly brings together our shared love of the sea.”
Gareth Morrison, Head of Water Safety, at the RNLI added:
“We are delighted to enter into a new partnership with dryrobe. We see it as a natural coming together of two organisations who value the importance of the coast and enjoying what it has to offer. As we see a rise in popularity in activities such as open water dipping and swimming, the need to support this demographic with lifesaving information couldn't be greater. dryrobe’s support will enable us to reach even more people with our water safety messages and bring vital funds into the charity so we can continue saving lives at sea.”
