Ian Crane

We’re stoked to welcome pro surfer Ian Crane to Team dryrobe®! Growing up in San Clemente, CA Ian had two passions in life, surfing and basketball. Although he still loves basketball, he chose surfing as a profession.

Surfing with his best friends Kolohe Andino and Luke Davis at a young age helped Ian perfect his skills. He surfed competitively in Surfing America, NSSA and was chosen to represent the United States in the ISA games twice. He has been surfing on the WSL Qualifying Series for over 10 years and continues to compete on the Challenger Series every once in a while.

More recently, Ian has made the switch to becoming a free surfer - travelling the world, filming movies and surfing some of the best waves. Ian is also considered one of the best aerialists in the world, having won competitions including Red Bull Airborne in France and Stab High in Indonesia.
