Exciting news - we’re proud to be working together with The Outdoor Swimming Society and will be supporting this epic community of UK-based swimmers through their events in 2018.
As part of the partnership, we will be supporting 3 of the best open water swimming events in the UK; the Bantham Swoosh, the Hurly Burly and the Dart 10k, renowned as the first and arguably the finest 10k swim on the open water swimming calendar. dryrobes will also be in use throughout the year keeping the society’s swimmers warm and happy on their swim adventures.
Established in 2006, The Outdoor Swimming Society was formed to celebrate swimming under an open sky, to keep outdoor swimming wild and free whilst promoting it in all its various forms. Now the world’s biggest community of outdoor swimmers, The OSS aims to represent the interests of all the different kinds of outdoor swimmer by providing inspiration, connection and a community.
Since it’s launch in 2012, dryrobe has become an essential companion to outdoor swimmers, who have embraced the benefits of staying warm while changing outside, whether it be at one of the UK’s famed lidos, lakes, rivers or even wilder adventures.
Kate Rew, Outdoor Swimming Society Founder and Director says: "Nothing beats a dryrobe after a long cold swim. Sponsoring Outdoor Swimming Society events and #greatbritishswim swimmer Ross Edgley in the same year? We have known the guys at dryrobe since they started, but this could be their best year yet. We are delighted to have them on board as official event supporters this year."
Gideon Bright, dryrobe Founder and Director commented: “We’ve enjoyed an amazing relationship with the OSS over the years and are delighted to be supporting their events in 2018. Our relationship with the open water swimming community is very important to us here at dryrobe, and this is just one example of that commitment”
