Taking action today, to create a better future tomorrow.
More and more businesses are joining the B Corp mission. But why is it so highly esteemed, and what does it mean for certified businesses and their consumers?
To celebrate B Corp Month, we explore what it means to be part of the B Corp community and how we continue to use business as a force for good.

What it means to be a B Corp
To date, there are over 9,500 B Corps across the world, all with the same unifying goal.
B Corp is a voluntary certification for dedicated businesses committed to the same vital mission, prioritising the welfare of people and the planet alongside profit.
We believe that business can be about producing high-quality, sustainably produced products that also benefit the planet and the community.
That’s why we’re incredibly proud to be part of the growing global B Corp community that encourages and supports the prioritisation and implementation of business strategies, decisions, and procedures that favour people and the planet.
How does B Corp support consumers?
As a consumer, you’re pretty powerful. When you purchase from a B Corp business, you’re investing in products or services that are committed to better serving the planet and its people.
You’re supporting a better way of doing business that protects and looks after the world as a whole.
The B Corp certification helps you identify verified businesses that are committed to this mission. Therefore, you’re helping to make a positive impact through your spending choices.

How do you become a B Corp?
The process upholds incredibly high standards of assessment in a rigorous application that evaluates every aspect of a company, from the products created to the company culture and how they give back to communities.
It is an incredibly thorough process to ensure that environmental and social responsibility is present across the whole business.
Transparency is a key part of the certification process as well as performance and accountability. You can find out more about what is required to achieve certification here.
So, who assesses the applications? That would be B Lab - a nonprofit network that’s working towards transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
How B Corp is celebrating in 2025
Competition between businesses is OUT. Learning, being accountable, and striving for improvement are IN.
B Corp and its certified community know there is a more positive way to do business. The narrative is finally shifting. Being ‘good’ at business isn’t about taking and profiting. It’s about making good commercial decisions that contribute to the wellness of the planet, creating healthy working environments, and giving back to communities.
This year, B Corp is empowering the emerging generation of people who want to use business as a force for good. This new generation is aptly named ‘Gen B’. Find out more about the campaign here.

Why we’re proud to be a B Corp
There’s a reason why fast fashion is rightfully going out of fashion.
We believe in a ‘buy less, buy better’ perspective. Since Dryrobe® was founded over a decade ago, every product that we’ve produced has been built to last for years and years.
We’re dedicated to longevity, not only in the products we make but also in protecting and conserving where we can use them, the outdoors and in nature—which inspired the creation of Dryrobe® Advance in the first place.
Opting for and prioritising sustainable business options is an exciting and proactive endeavor—one that’s quite literally woven into the fabric of Dryrobe®. All our Dryrobe® Advance changing robes and accessories are made with 100% recycled nylon, approved by Global Recycle Standard. The unique fleece lining of the Dryrobe® Advance is made from 100% recycled polyester, approved by the Global Recycle Standard and certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
Find out more about the recycled fabric we use here.
To date, we have a diverse range of certifications that cover the whole of product creation, from the manufacturing journey to the environment where products are produced, like our SMETA-approved or are BSCI audited supplier factories, all the way down to our FSC-certified and recycled cardboard packaging.
Head to our Sustainability page for more about this.
We also passionately support people's accessibility to the outdoors and connection with nature. Whether this be through the creation of new products, like the Dryrobe® Adapt, or by supporting life-transforming non-profit organisations through the Dryrobe® Warmth Project.

Looking to the future
Becoming a Certified B Corp™ is a huge milestone in our sustainability journey, and we’re incredibly proud to be part of the global community. However, the commitment doesn’t stop post-certification. Like most things in life, there are always developments and new leads on how to improve things.
Our dedication to doing business better is an ongoing journey, and we’re currently recertifying to ensure we stay part of this progressive movement.
We look forward to striving for better, achieving high standards, and, above all, learning more about how to continue transforming the economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
