‘This year was all about showing up, even when conditions were far from comfortable. I entered my first two triathlons at Croyde and Perranporth, both of which were raced in big surf and relentless rain. Getting to the start line with a small one at home was no mean feat, but I loved every second of it and came away properly stoked to do more.
A real highlight of the year was launching Deep Calm, the UK’s first underwater resilience training course. It’s a unique four-week journey that combines underwater training and breathwork, designed to help people stay calm and comfortable in uncomfortable environments - something I’ve found invaluable in both sport and life.
I was also proud to podium at a couple of events, including the Studland Swimrun and the Kaolinite Aquathlon, but some of the best moments of the year came away from competition altogether. Three weeks on a tiny island in the Isles of Scilly, sea swimming every day, and spending quality time with my family, was a perfect reminder of why I love the water so much.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited to enter more swimruns and triathlons, host a Blue Health gathering at The Wave in Bristol, and grow Deep Calm with many more courses and events. I’m looking forward to another year of adventure, connection, and finding calm in the wild.’

‘2025 has been another whirlwind. After stepping away from the World Qualifying series to pursue other dreams in surfing, it felt amazing to put on the contest rashie and take home my 8th National title! This year’s been full of adventures, hiccups, and putting in the work, ready for exciting things to come in 2026… watch this space!’

‘In July, we completed our English Channel Double in 27 hours and 18 minutes. I'm only the second female Latin swimmer to successfully finish it. In August, I earned our fourth Guinness World Record for the longest ice swim ever completed by a woman, a total of 3840 m at 4°C, and I have two gold medals from the World Championships of the International Ice Swimming Association in Molveno. Finally, I was nominated for the Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame as the first Chilean swimmer in history.
It was an amazing year. In addition to our training on the beautiful glaciers of Patagonia, we strive to raise awareness about the importance of caring for our ocean and water resources. Thank you so much for all the support for the Dryrobe® family and for believing in me always!’

‘I began the year trekking in Uganda with Nomadic Skies, switching off from the internet for three weeks of slow and meaningful travel. I hiked through remote communities and native forests to hear the stories of the Batwa indigenous people and meet their forest cousins, the mountain gorillas.
I completed a training camp with Ross Edgley, who came to stay in the Highlands before his epic Iceland circumnavigation, and we recorded a podcast together! We launched our ocean podcast to share the ocean’s most pressing and beautiful stories.
Updates on Seaful: We completed Seaful’s Vitamin Sea Project in Ullapool, where we snorkelled with the Ullapool Sea Savers and stand-up paddleboarded with women in the community. We also snorkelled in Lundy with Young Carers.
I spent a week on Mingulay with the National Trust for Scotland, working with puffins and Great Skua. Visit our blog for more information and to watch the film here.
Exciting news for the TV series Scotland: Ocean Nation- it has been renewed to be available to watch on STV Player for another year, until March 2026.
I spent most of the summer on Scottish islands working with Manx Shearwater seabirds with the National Trust for Scotland. Also, lots of wildlife were rescued this year, including common and grey seal pups, gulls, gannets, and skua!
I’m now in Panama for Christmas and New Year, diving into people’s connection with nature and exploring some wonderful places with James.’

‘2025 has been an action-packed year for me with loads of big waves, wipeouts, and good times. My main achievement in 2025 was competing in the Pico Alto Pro Big Wave event in Peru. The waves were huge, and it was an amazing adventure. Besides the surfing, it was cool to be immersed in a new culture and meet such a friendly crew.
My other main achievement for 2025 was getting towed into a set wave at Nazaré on a giant day. Fortunately, I made the wave and was picked up safely. Lots of training and dedication go into these moments, so it’s extra special when it all comes together.
For 2026, my main goals are to work on riding an even bigger wave in Nazaré and to work on paddling into some more of the world's renowned big wave spots.’
