The race is a 420m swim through the Maryhill Locks in Glasgow incorporating eight climbs over the lock gates totaling a 17m ascent. It’s taking place on Saturday 28th March, Maryhill Locks, Glasgow between 12:00 – 16:00

Red Bull Neptune Steps is the only race that takes you from horizontal to vertical in a matter of moments. Competitors will face the challenge of a 420 metre sprint swim through the Maryhill Locks in Glasgow, incorporating eight climbs over the canal’s lock gates. Each gate will present a different test, with cargo nets, rope ladders or ropes to aid the ascent. For 100 elite athletes with experience in adventure swimming or endurance, military and multi events, it will be a true test of their speed and strength.
